In the first quarter of 2021, the food and diet tracking category on the iOS platform experienced varying performance levels across top applications in the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for each app.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter maintained a strong presence with revenues peaking at over $1M in early February, while downloads reached a high of nearly 130K in the first week of March. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of over 4M in the first week of January before stabilizing around the 3.5M mark by the end of March.

WeightWatchers: Weight Health showed a similar revenue trend with a peak of approximately $780K in mid-January. Downloads for WeightWatchers decreased over the quarter, starting at over 54K and ending at about 15K. Weekly active users saw a high of over 340K at the start of March.
